Located in Charleston’s historic South of Broad neighborhood, this project involved a complete renovation of a 1970’s residence. Collaborating with a skilled team of contractors and architects, Kate integrated traditional design elements to ensure the home harmonized with its storied surroundings. A rebuilt staircase, finished with custom hand-painted Gracie wallpaper, serves as a breathtaking focal point in the entryway. By incorporating the client’s unique collection of antiques and handcrafted rugs sourced from around the world, Kate created a timeless, curated aesthetic that honors both the home’s character and the neighborhood’s charm.
